A Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis :
a transformation, an evolution

"When? Why? How? "
(inquisitive minds want to know!)
Questions about my work asked by a new friend led me down this trail of thought about evolution. Not as in Evolution vs. The Big Bang vs. Creationism {which is always a fun debate around here ;)} but about the evolution of design & how one design morphs into another & how on earth did I stumble upon this path of creating beauty from discarded forgotten treasures???

'Twas divine intervention I think...the original Creator using me to (re)create the past & transform the discarded & breath life into the broken hearted ...such an amazing metaphor in my life that goes so far beyond designing jewelry that my soul leaps at the thought of it...

I wonder in amazement at those I have crossed paths with & the transformations that have taken place...such beauty & passion ...a smile on my lips when I think of those I have yet to meet...

What once was old is made new again

May I transform a treasure for you? Please read my Proposal here & let me know if you'd like to be a part of this project! I've been contacted by several lovely ladies so far but am looking to make this so much bigger! I have plans to blog the whole process & share the evolution of my design process with you pretty birds. & for a better visual of my own design style evolution have a gander @ the first necklace I sold on Etsy! I have no recollection of who that Good Girl was that made that :) I have grown & I am humbled by this gift of creativity I have been given!

Lots more goodies to unveil this week (I worked my booty off this weekend!) ! If you can't wait 'till later this week you might take a gander at my fan page on Facebook where I've already upladed most of the photos. & While you're at it, go ahead & sign up to be a fan... The first 500 to sign up will be entered into a drawing to win Free Jewelry!

Hope you had a lovely weekend my birdlings!
XoXo,
Johanna

As always, everything looks fantastic! Feels like I haven't been here in ages. I'm going to have to try to fix that.

Holy Moly what a fabulous necklace! I just love your style and eye for detail. I can't wait to acquire one of your pieces!!

P.S. No heavy coat required for me, I live in Southern California and rarely need anything more than a light coat. Thanks for stopping by and I'm adding you to my blog list.
