Letters From The Heart

Dear AC,
Thank you so much for breaking today when it is upwards of 100 degrees outside! I'm grateful to realize that as much as I thought I was born in the wrong era (& really should have been birthed in Victorian times), I would have never actually survived without air conditioning. I'd have been swooning with heat stroke & fainting into the outstretched arms of handsome gentleman callers, being fanned & fed peeled grapes while the maidservant brought me chilled wine.......

Oh dear... I must be delusional from heat exhaustion!

Oh dear! I hope it gets fixed soon, sweetheart. Yes, in the "old" days, we would have needed a fainting couch. That's where you lie and have the handsome gentleman feed you the peeled grapes and fan you....or and the wine, never forget the wine!

We still have the rain going on here. It's freakish weather for July in my neck of the woods.

xoxo

...oh my gosh. TELL me about it. I've started wearing a wet scarf while working. It feels really lovely against my pulse points. Well. As lovely as possible.

Can't enamel anymore...it gets to 114F in the studio when I do. SWELTER SWELTER.
