Adventures in Thrifting

What better way to
spend your weekend???

My mom & I discovered a new place to scavenge this weekend!
Adventures in thrifting begins with a warning!?!?

Warning: The following photo contains major swoony goodness! If fainting occurs please lay down with a cup of tea & rest the remainder of the day!

You should know I did refrain
& didn't actually purchase the whole wall of glorious-ness!
{snicker}
...well I did leave a little bit for others ;)

~this wants to be mine~

~I found most of my treasures in their shop~

~Soo cute!~

I just realized while editing these photos that I never
went back to purchase these tweeterific gals!
Did you see the price!?!

{kicking myself for this}

~Upstairs in the little hut~

There were several of these little shacks scattered about & then a few larger antique shops. Not sure what the little "village 'o shops" is even named?? I must find out & report back!

(ceiling of one of the vintage thrift stores!)

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I have a thing for ancient chippy paint & rust spots & verdigris
...the more corroded the better!!

To quote a friend of mine, I love the vintage dust & rust because "love corrodes all" & something about romance blah blah blah... I stopped listening after he pointed out the vintage "toe-jam" (as he called it) hahahaha (No, his derogatory adjectives did nothing to dissuade my love!)

I hope your weekend was loaded with treasures
& you spoiled yourself rotten!

Whatever were you birds up to??

PS: This sign made me laugh soo hard
...would be awesome hanging over The Boys bedroom door ;)

Oh my... I only wish the thrift shops around here had just a fraction of that beauty. I am totally jealous... loved all of your pictures.
