Rocked and Shopped Out

First & foremost I want to thank everyone who came & supported the Rock and Shop! I was overwhelmed with the number of people who came by my table & told me that they were sent to purchase specific items for friends!! (Love email link hints!) Or just stopped by to say how they had been admiring my jewelry online! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

& now a thank you to my helper/friend extraordinaire Ashley (pictured above holding down the fort while I pranced around picture taking & shopping)!

Michelle put together an awesome event! The bands were rock'n & oh my goodness I could have spent as much $ as I made there! I did manage a few little purchases for myself ....I lovely cozy yellow & brown scarf hoodie from Andrea (you can find her at miscusi.etsy.com) & I got an adorbale bird purse/clutch from Pear (pearthreads.com)!
I met some fabulous designers whose work I've been admiring for some time....Karen Long ofChicpeople (love her asymmetrical earrings!) She was super helpful & friendly & may have to be one of my new BF's! & I also had the pleasure of meeting Sonya Caulson of Metamorphosis Metals.If you've been eying her stuff online wait 'till you see it in person!
Her organic hoop earrings are so splendidly simple & pure they will take your breath away!

I followed that event up with cutting 60 xmas trees out of construction paper for the PreK Sunday school class I teach, destroying popcorn balls (FYI Paula Deans recipe sucks! It made shriveled popcorn soup! What a waste of 4 bags of popcorn & a box candy canes! ), making Chili for 16 & hosting a Wii tournament ! umm.. I may go back to bed because I'm rather exhausted! Good exhausted but still very tired!
