Transpired & Transparency

I would like a do-over for the first week of the year!
Could someone please make that happen??

{le sigh}

My week started out with this (click me!)
...it didn't get much better.

EDIT::(that's not exactly true now that I reread this...it just ended the same...broken)

~Transparency ~
(photo from here)

I have begun to notice a reoccurring theme
amongst my creative friends
(here in bloggy world & my life around me)

We tend to feel things most fully, sucking the last mournful tear out of our sorrow...rejoicing every last dance out of our love . It is thee highest of highs & lowest of lows that gives birth to the fruition of out creativity.

It is exhausting most often
& necessary always!

Last week:
faith was shaken & restored
a romance began & ended
a game was played & lost
tears were shed & wiped away
discernment was lost & found

Today:
I am renewed & restored
more rested than wrecked
I WILL NOT be greatly shaken!!

******************************
Thank you for listening my dearest birds,
'twas cathartic getting that off my chest
& I am ready for a new week!
*******************************
Crafty plans are in the works!!
(including a craft night & work towards hosting my own market!)

Inspiration for this week...

Ready for Take off !
1. The Love Tree, 2. Do you feel alive, she said, 3. Batgirl & the Robin twins, 4. propeller

I get by with a little help from my friends!

XoXo's,
Johanna

PS: Sunday a friend asked how I was.
I told him I was OK & that I would live.
He told me was glad but the object was not
to
just live but to thrive!!

(thanks Nate!)
Words to live by indeed!!

Oh honey...don't you wish life came with a rewind button? I could have saved myself some nasty heartache, but it's these experiences that make us grow and offer us the outlet that like you say, gives birth to creativity.

Some of the best songs ever written were as a result of heartache and tragedy. I can't imagine not having some of those songs or the ones that are yet to be written.

Here's wishing you a great start to a fresh and new week...I hope it brings you all that you deserve my sweet friend!

Thank you for the lovely surprise in my mailbox…I L-O-V-E my ornament…precious and beautiful!

Love and hugs,
Karyn

I like your new banner. You can vent anytime as I think blogging is a good way to do so and we readers do not mind. I am always inspired by reading your blog and seeing all the wonderful items you make. Keep creating.

This reminds me of one of my favorite songs: Manic Depression by Jimi Hendrix. Life is such a roller coaster.

You can probably tell from my post that I totally understand!!! :)

My theory is if you start off on the wrong foot.. it can only get better from here on out. Last year for me started out PERFECT and them BAM downhill for the next 10 months.

Just stay positive and things will always turn around!! ...and if not we can wallow together ;)
