First up, more watch goodies...
{Not in the shop yet}
~various stages of doneness~
& when completed...
~A Walk to Remember~
{available here}
~Maudlin St...an Ode to Morrisey~
{available here}
~The Holiday Party~
...he handed her a crimson corsage,
delicately pinning it to her dress,
his hands shaking in anticipation of
dancing the night away with her...
{available here}
Making these collages was like a breath of fresh air!
Why do I stay away from them for so long??
I forget that I can do this & get so bogged down with feelings of uncertainty & the fear of failure that I stop creating altogether.
And then the tidal wave comes
And the fear is washed away to reveal a fresh canvas for my creativity to flow onto.
Thank God!

In other news...
We won we won!!!
{those would be the boys skinny legs on the left}
Actually I don't think we did win but it doesn't matter because in this league there is no score keeping...everyone's a winner! {please read that with the sarcasm font} I think that is terribly DUMB (for lack of a better word) !! Winning & losing builds character! I get the whole "it's about playing the game" thing but children these days don't get that there are consequences for their actions!
...& I'm done with my rant now! (there is a lot more to my argument about the dumbing down of our kids but I'm in a good mood today so I'm shutting up!)
The boy did get 2 baskets which was pretty awesome & very encouraging for him!!
I even managed to get a pic of one of them!
{That's him with his hands up (No15)}
& that my dear birds is what I've been up to this week!
I do hope you had a lovely week! Do you have any fun plans this weekend? I have the Boylan Height s Art Walk Sun. & it's supposed to be super cold & it's outside! Yikes!Time for some earmuffs! There's the timer...I had better go get the rest of the Christmas cookies out of the oven & frosted before my friends show up for a little game night. What are you birds up to his weekend? Do tell!
XoXo,
Johanna
