Reinvention

As promised a few more pics of the treasures
I scored over on the coast this past weekend!

I am itching to get back to work & reinvent them for my Spring collection! That last pic on the right is a ton of '80's earrings given to me by a dear neighbor of my parents! She had quite the colorful collection!

********Speaking of Reinventing******

How did you do with your New Years Resolutions last year?
Did you stick to them?
95% of people don't!
{& 95% of all statistics are made up (including this one!hehehe}

I am not a fan of resolutions. It's up there with making lists! I start procrastinating the procrastination :) Last year I decided a word was in order in lieu of a list. That word was Connecting. Choosing a word is about intentions & how you intend to live each day out. I connected a lot this past year! So many new friends & business relationships were formed I am utterly amazed! If I was in the business of buying & sending Christmas cards, which I'm not {for those of you who felt slighted when you didn't get one from me (no one did!) That would require making lists & getting addresses & oh my brain hurts just thinking of it! Where was I ?? Oh yes, I would be broke.

Inspired again by this amazing blogger,
& with some encouragement from my family...
I have chosen not 1 but
2 words for 2010!

**Abundance & Consistency**

Both very applicable to my living a fuller more rewarding personal & professional life this year.
Other contenders were Embellish, Inspire, Avail & Wealth. I very carefully wrote them each out on the first scraps of paper I could find (Frankie's Fun Park tickets!) & threw them all in a box. scrambled them up & shook the box...those 2 came out( as I knew they would, You can bet I prayed over the box before I shook it!)!

What does all those mumbo jumbo mean my birds???

con*sis*ten*cy
1 a archaic : condition of adhering together : firmness of material substance b : firmness of constitution or character : persistence
2 : degree of firmness, density, viscosity, or resistance to movement or separation of constituent particles
3 a : agreement or harmony of parts or features to one another or a whole : correspondence; specifically : ability to be asserted together without contradiction b : harmony of conduct or practice with profession

It means I will be intentional about my life. Intentionally being consistent in how I raise The Boy. Consistent in my words, thoughts & actions.

a*bun*dance
noun
1. an extremely plentiful or over sufficient quantity or supply: an abundance of grain.
2. overflowing fullness: abundance of the heart.
3. affluence; wealth: the enjoyment of abundance.

Intentional not only about the abundant love in my heart
but the abundance of $ in my wallet ;)

Wishing you all the
Happiest of New Years Blessings!

Abundant and consistent... wonderful intentions for the New Year! I hope that you have a blessed one!
I'm lovin' the loot bags and all of the fun treasures you've come across. Get busy creating, girl!
BTW, not to say that it's a good thing... but, I didn't send out any Christmas cards, either! You're not alone! :)

You really did score a great stash of goodies for your creative ventures. I like your words you have selected for 2010. My word I chose is FOCUS and I really have to work on this. Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful blogs.

What a wonderful post! I think choosing a word (or two!) to live by is a fantastic idea. I can't tell you how many times I have uncovered my written resolutions from the previous year and been very disappointed in myself, haha.

Happy New Year to both you and your son! May it be the best one yet! :)

Happy new year!! Those are some fabulous treasures. I've got some goals in mind this year. NO resolutions. I never keep them. Ah ha

ohhh I just love the idea of intentions instead of resolutions. I have never made resolutions, but at the turn of the new year I always find myself thinking about how to positively alter my focus and energy on certain things in life. I love your intentions in particular!

Thank you so much for the well wishes; you are so sweet!

What fabulous treasures you scored! Isn't it fun?!! Can't wait to see how you revamp them.

Love your word concept...something I think I'd stick to better than a resolution. Organize and focus come to mind for me!

Hope you're having a fabulous week sweet friend
