The Cat's Out of the Bag!

My secret is out & the article is in!
Do you have any idea how hard it has been to keep this a secret from you birds!?! Hop on over to the Etsy blog & read the smarticle Quit Your Day Job featuring yours truly :)

A big "Thank you" to Etsy for running this :) Excited isn't even the word (stoked, blessed, amazed perhaps?) Happy dancing all day :) In honor of the feature I'm going to try this giveaway thing one more time!!! I'm giving away a pair of my Stirred not Shaken earrings !

So leave me a comment telling me what you are grateful for & I (hehehe or Tyler) will pick a winner at random on Friday!

Smooches,
Johanna

PS: My wholesale business went National as of Sunday!
OMG!!!
I am speechless & breathless & so thankful for the Lord's awesome blessing!

Congrats on the Etsy press! Loved reading the article. As for what I'm grateful for, I'll toss out 2 things - everyday miracles (like the unexpected sale or temp gig so desperately needed) and discovering new blogs/sites full of wonderful inspiration.

Just read the "smarticle" and was going over to "heart" your shop, but you're already in my faves. Well, duh! of course!
^_^

Speaking of day jobs and gratefulness, I'm so thankful that I've been able to stay home with my kids, at least up 'til now. Finding a "real" job just hasn't seemed to be in God's plans so far. (I'm also grateful that I have Him to lean on!)

Love your creative creations and your inspiring words!

Congratulations - I too enjoyed reading your interview for Quit Your Day Job and feel really pleased for you and how what seemed a negative (day job - company liquidation) turned into a fantastic positive - you working for yourself!
I am so grateful for having a strong need to be creative. I would encourage everyone to try and be creative - I am sure the world would be a happier, more contented place to be.

Congrats on the Etsy article! Your article was truly inspiring for me. I was recently *laid off indefinitely* so I am trying to push my Etsy shops more and more these days. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to market my items on Etsy and keep myself busy being creative once again. I'm also very grateful for my two sons, one of which is serving in the US Army to protect our freedoms. :)

Hope you have a fabulous (BUSY!) week!

Congrats on your Etsy feature & your success *smiles* I'm so grateful for having a healthy & happy son to care for and the best husband ever. He works very hard so that we can scrape by while I stay at home to pursue my indie biz.

Your article was truly an inspiration. I’m not a seller on Etsy, but I do own an online boutique that features independent artists (such as yourself). Being a business owner, in these times, is not an easy road, but your article gives hope to those that might consider quitting an option. Thank you for your enthusiasm and encouragement.

I just found you, so I don't feel right entering the giveaway...but I just wanted to tell you that your work is gorgeous! And I'm thankful that my little man went down for a nap without a fight today. Ah ha

I'm so happy for you, what a great article! I loved seeing some photos of your work space too!

Truly I am grateful for all of the inspiration I get from fellow bloggers.

I've been working on something for months now and hope to launch an etsy store soon! I can't wait to get away from the backstabbing, ladder climbing, spirit suckers in "Corporate America"...oh my...did I just say that out loud?!

Congrats on your wholesale business! I wish you continued success and I hope one day you have a show in California!

Thank you so much sweet friend for your kind words and well wishes!

Love and hugs,
Karyn

I am thankful for your help on Etsy!!! I truly appreciate your time and know-how! And I am thankful for Boog's (my 15-mo-old) learning how to talk! She looked at Twitter the other day and said, "What's that?" :-) Oh, and I am thankful that my hubby is in his last year of seminary--a truly wonderful time, but we're ready for him to be finished with school! Now I'm off to read your blog...

So excited for you. Congratulations!! I'm thankful for a very blessed life. My parents were taken from me when I was 7, and I think God has been trying to make it up to me for the last 19 years. I have a lovely son, fantastic friends, purpose in life, and although my neighbor is driving me crazy with her horrible singing right now most days are quite blissful. Again, congratulations!!
