So the deal with this surprise is that at first a dear friend of mine & I were building a website for the business when I stumbled upon bigcartel. It's an awesome site for indie designers as you don't need to know html code & it's free to add products. I upgraded for better features with a slightly higher monthly cost but there's no listing or sales fees. It's great for an off Etsy site that is truly yours & the customer doesn't have to have an account. They just run off to paypal & pay & there's no confusion. Love it! It's definitely not as exciting as having my own made from scratch designer site but this way I can update whenever I need to w/o having to pay someone to do it for me. I plan on having special items there that won't be in my etsy shop & exclusive sales as well.
